EsculturaDay 1: Leaving from Punta Arenas at 8.30 hrs. Taking Route 9 to the height of “Cabeza del Mar,” where we take Route Y 50 that will move us to the town of “Rio Verde.” At the height of km 15 of this route, we will first meet with Otway Sound at its best, where we will stop for 15 minutes to take pictures, throughout this journey of 62 km, we will see the Magellan steppe.

At the height Km.28 of the route Y 50, we will find Olga Teresa farm, a beautiful farm in the Chilean Patagonia, which is in the midst of the vast community of “Rio Verde”, along the Fitz Roy channel, which links Otway withSkiring Sounds, where we will marvel at the condors, and wewill get to a place near the base of the hill, after around a 10-minute walk, it will begin the ascent to get near where the condors settle. They can be seen resting or flying over the place; we will observe the condors in flight After delighting us with an appetizer and a delicious homemade pies, cookin Olga Teresa, we will continue our trip going to visit the Municipality of “Rio Verde”, “El Mirador del Seno Skiring” and the monument created by Paola Vezzani.

Rancho SutivanWe will return 5 kms. by the Route in order to take the ferry that will cross the Fitz Roy Channel which will take us to Riesco Island, the fourth largest island in Chile, LAND OF PIONEERS, where we will be seeing, at a distance of 68 km on the banks Otway Sound, the nature, which provides a sharp transition from the Magellan steppe to the evergreen landscape, a place where the” RANCHO SUTIVAN” is located, where you will be warmly received by its host, with appetizer and cocktail in the HOUSE OF NONA, building dating from the early 20th century, which was repaired and fitted out to welcome tourists.

After a rural lunch, we will review the farm’s operation, infrastructure and history as one of the first sawmills in the Chilean Patagonia, and know and learn the basics of saddle horses, which will be adapted to our requirements for the next day . After this exhausting day, nothing better than a hot tub outdoors, a good dinner, talked a few mates and a good night's sleep, to begin the day in the next night.

Rancho SutivanDay 2: 6.00 am After seeing a spectacular sunrise on the shores of Seno Otway, if weather conditions allow to, breakfast will be ready with a good coffee, milk, homemade bread, ham, cheese, homemade jams, free-range eggs, which will give us enough energy to start the activities. After the breakfast, we will prepare our tools to proceed to saddle our horses, an activity led by an expert who will teach and guide you during the process and then we will start our ride to the Canyon del Ángel.

In our journey of 7 miles, with Otway sound behind us, we will enjoy a unique landscape, the one which will beportrayed in your pictures. At halfway, we will stop to eat our lunch box, to recover energy and continue our adventure.Back around 14.00 hrs. We will be waited with a good typical Chilean dish,”sopaipillas”, “pebre”, salads, a nice glass of wine, homemade dessert and digestif. In the afternoon, we will contemplate farming activities, you can take walks freely on the ranch house or just relax and then enjoy the typical roast lamb, the style of the Patagonian farms, with a good glass of wine,”pebre”, “sopaipillas” or cakes, as it is said in the countryside, salads, good coffee and a digestif.

Day 3: After breakfast and collect our bags and say goodbye, you will embark on the journey back to Punta Arenas.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS:knowing on riding, no experience needed, bring warm clothing, waterproof, good shoes, camera, sunscreen.
